Malta & Sicily Adventure Tour:

Day 01 Saturday:
Upon arrival at Malta International Airport you will be met by a representative and transferred to your hotel. Balance of day at leisure.  (D)

Day 02: Sunday:
Breakfast at your hotel.  Day at leisure.  (B, D)

Day 03: Monday:
After breakfast, morning at leisure. In the  afternoon enjoy a half-day Valletta City Tour, including a visit to the Upper Barracca Gardens overlooking the Grand Harbor, St. John’s Co-Cathedral and the Grand Master’s Palace. Lastly, enjoy the “Malta Experience,” a multi-vision show depicting Malta’s history throughout the ages.  (B, D)

Day 04: Tuesday:
After breakfast, experience a full day Mdina/Rabat Tour. Visit Mdina, Malta’s “silent city,” the  cathedral and St. Catald’s Catacombs.  After lunch continue with a visit to the Mosta Dome, San Anton Botanical Gardens, and Ta‘ Qali Crafts Village. (B, L, D)

Day 05: Wednesday:
After breakfast, enjoy a sensational harbor cruise sailing in a pleasure boat through the Grand Harbor and Marsamxett Harbor, with a running commentary on the history of Malta, and excellent photo opportunities.  Balance of the day at leisure.  (B, D)

Day 06: Thursday:
After breakfast, enjoy a full day Gozo Tour.  Your tour includes a 25-minute ferry crossing to Malta’s sister island of Gozo, with wonderful photo opportunities along the way.  A visit to the Ggantija Prehistoric Temples, The Citadel in Victoria, Xlendi Bay and Calypso’s Cave are all part of your tour.  After lunch, enjoy time for shopping in the local markets. Day 07: Friday:
After breakfast, transfer to Malta International Airport for your flight to Sicily.  Upon arrival at Palermo International Airport transfer to your hotel. Balance of day at leisure.  (B)

Day 08: Saturday:
PALERMO: After breakfast, a day at leisure – free time to start exploring Palermo on your own. This evening, enjoy a welcome cocktail, orientation, dinner and overnight at your accommodation.  (B, D)

Day 09 Sunday:
PALERMO – SEGESTA – ERICE – TRAPANI – AGRIGENTO: After buffet breakfast depart for Segesta to visit the Doric Temple which keeps in its stone the weight of a long history, surrounded by a unique landscape. Lunch at a local restaurant in Erice, a medieval town full of myth and history, art and environment located at 800 mtrs above the sea. After lunch enjoy an orientation tour of Trapani’s salt-mills. Continue to Agrigento. Dinner and overnight at Jolly Della Valle. After dinner enjoy an unforgettable panoramic tour of the Valley of the Temples illuminated. Overnight in Agrigento. (B, L, D)

Day 10 Monday:
AGRIGENTO – PIAZZA ARMERINA - SIRACUSA: After a buffet breakfast visit of the Valley of the Temples including the Temple of Juno, Concord, Heracles, Zeus, Castor & Pollux. Continue to Piazza Armerina and lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch visit of the worldwide famous Villa romana del Casale famed for its well preserved mosaics. Continue to Siracusa. Dinner and overnight at Jolly hotel. (B, L, D) 

Day 11 Tuesday:
SIRACUSA - CATANIA: After a buffet breakfast visit of the archaeological area including the famous Latomie of the Paradise and the Dyonisios “Ear” as well as visit of the island of Ortigia, singular treasure of the baroque style. Lunch at Jolly hotel Siracusa. After lunch depart for Catania and visit of the city. Time at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Jolly hotel. (B, L, D) 

Day 12 Wednesday:
CATANIA – MONTE ETNA - TAORMINA - MESSINA: After a buffet breakfast, conditions permitting, excursion till 1800 meters to Mount Etna the highest active volcano of Europe. Continue to Taormina: lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon visit the Greek Theater and enjoy ttime at leisure for shopping or walking through the tiny streets. Continue to Messina: dinner and overnight at Jolly hotel Messina situated in front of the Straight. (B, L, D) 

Day 13 Thursday:
MESSINA – REGGIO CALABRIA- CAPO D’ORLANDO - CEFALU’-PALERMO: After a buffet breakfast, sea conditions permitting, embark to Reggio Calabria and visit the famous “Bronzi di riace”. Drive along the Thyrrenian coast. Stop in Capo d’Orlando for lunch. Continue to Cefalù, a pleasant resort well known for its beautiful Norman Cathedral and medieval wash-house built in the rock. Continue to Palermo. Dinner and overnight at Jolly hotel Palermo. (B, L, D)

Day 14 Friday:
PALERMO- MONREALE: After a buffet breakfast depart to Monreale and visit the Duomo(Cathedral) as well as the Benedictine Cloister which are in pure Norman style. Visit the city of Palermo including the Cathedral, the Palatine Chapel in the Royal Palace as well as a panoramic tour of the historical center. Lunch at Jolly hotel. In the afternoon, time at leisure or enjoy an optional excursion to the Catacombs, the Handcrafts village of Palermo and Mondello. Dinner and overnight at Jolly hotel Palermo. (B, L, D)

Day 15 Saturday:
PALERMO: After breakfast, transfer to Palermo International for your hotel home. (B)
